Owners opinion on sustainable features?
We have been homesteading for 27 years, using the animal waste for the gardens and the garden waste to augment the animals' diet. We have been caring for the goats and ourselves herbally all this time and are in excellent health. We started with one goat so our home-birthed baby daughter would have something healthful to transition to as she grew. All the rest of the farm grew out of that. We have made "living the dream" a sustainable, profitable reality.
One of us is a painter who wants to slow down and only paint and garden at this point. The other of us wants to slow down and also try some new projects. We will pass on a wealth of lived experience to new owners, and always be only a phone call away for any question.
