This property is on the north side of the Biorachan No. 1 Road, approximately 2kms from the village of Earltown, in close proximity to Sugar Moon Farms, Gully Lake Protected Area, Ski Wentworth and the town of Tatamagouche. Located high in the Cobequid Hills of northern Nova Scotia, this woodlot was one of the first in the province to be certified under Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification. The lot is accessed by a well-maintained Class D gravel road and an extensive network of established trails.

The center portion of the lot is made up of white spruce and balsam fir in various stages of development, predominately on old field sites. Wild blueberries have established along a small portion of old field and Christmas tree production has also taken place in the past. Extensive areas surrounding the old field sites consist of tolerant hardwood forests of sugar maple, red maple, yellow birch and white ash. Three known sources of water are located on the property, as are many species of wildlife, including but not limited to white-tailed deer, black bear, coyote, fox, hare, raptors and song birds.

A forest management plan is included with the property. Continued FSC Certification is optional. Sale will include a new legal survey and a new woodlot gate. Access from the Biorachan Rd is shared with the present owner and is available as a right-of-way only.
