Owners opinion on sustainable features?
There is plenty of outdoor space, available irrigation water and sunshine enough to grow small crops all year round. House grey water is recycled. There is a solar water heater. The house is well insulated - warm in winter and cool in summer. We only need to heat it for 3/4 months a year and do not need air conditioning. The shops are only a 15min walk away - car not necessary for everyday use.

Other?
Although within easy reach of town, the property is set back and up a hillside, away from the track, and has a peaceful setting.
There is an 8 x 4m swimming pool, surrounded by flowers and shrubs.
There is a wooden cabin with it's own outdoor shower and compost toilet - very useful for helpers on the land or as extra accommodation.
