Heating House?
Heating is by wood managed from the forest. The house has a woodburner in the living room and there is a rocket stove in the dining room.

Heating is by wood managed from the forest. The house has a woodburner in the living room and there is a rocket stove in the dining room.

Cooking method?
Both indoor and outdoor kitchens run on bottled gas for the cookers.

Electricity?
Fll solar system. There are no mains electric services near the property.

Water?
Water is from borehole for the household and there are 3 wells with all year round water for irrigating and livestock.

Food production?
There are a mixture of fruit and nut trees both mature and immature. A new orchard has been planted.

Income possibilities?
The main income source would be from glaming. There are 3 areas cleared requiring some finishing that could accomodate tipis, yurts, earthbag or strawbale.
Another avenue is organic produce via weekly vegetable boxes and also organic meat.

Owners opinion on sustainable features:
Totally off grid property and pretty self-sufficient. No mains services apart from wireless internet. All toilets are composting (3 of them), all water is from the property, there is no septic tank and all greywater feeds a willow bed.
